Buick is a brand known for affordable luxury. Though it isn’t the brand you see most often on the street, it’s proven itself as one of the best American makes available by earning a top ten spot among Consumer Reports reviews of car makers. If you live in Fort Worth and you’re in the market for a new SUV or sedan, Buick has some impressive offerings that stand out as American-made.
Buick’s large SUV is a great choice if you need to carry a lot of passengers or cargo to Fort Worth day destinations like Trinity Park and Benbrook Lake. The bench seating option makes room for up to eight people in the luxurious cabin. Alternatively, captain’s chairs in the second row provide seating for seven. This SUV isn’t exactly rugged, but it has plenty of room for your camping gear and a large family in case you feel like taking a trip on the open road. Starting MSRP is $39,050.
The Buick LaCrosse offers significant space for a sedan, giving passengers room to relax while they enjoy the car’s smooth ride and handling. The starting MSRP is $31,065 on 2015 models. Opt for the eAssist technology to turn your LaCrosse into a hybrid that gets 25 mpg city and 36 highway, especially if you face a daily commute on Fort Worth’s clogged highways.
Looking for a luxury sedan that won’t burn a hole in your pocket? This compact Buick sedan starts at just $21,990. The Verano is a good choice for a mid-size sedan, providing a smooth, quiet ride with the standard engine and a supercharged ride with the Verano Turbo package. Even without eAssist, this sedan gets an impressive 32 mpg highway.
The Buick Encore is an Enclave without the bulk, providing the full luxury SUV experience in a more compact package that seats five and gets 33 mpg on the highway. It also has a reasonable starting price of $24,065. Like with the Enclave, you can opt for all-wheel drive to get better traction if you like to tackle the ample Forth Worth countryside.
2016 Buick Cascada
Buick’s upcoming convertible is not yet public, but makes a highly anticipated release for 2016. The Cascada has previously been introduced in other countries as the Vauxhall Cascada, Opel Cascada, and Holden Cascada (pictured above). Pricing information for the Buick Cascada will be released by fall of this year and the Cascada will hit the market in spring 2016. Soon, you’ll have the option to cruise through Forth Worth with the top down — at least until the sweltering summer months arrive.
Buick is one of the safest automakers with almost all their vehicles achieving five-star safety ratings. Optional tech like rear view cameras and Blind Zone Alert make these cars even safer. If you’re still not impressed, take a Buick for a test drive and see how it handles the Fort Worth roads.
